🚐 Pick-up – Begin Your Safari Adventure

Your private safari guide will pick you up promptly at 07:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha City or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). After a short safari briefing and introductions, begin your journey southwest to Tarangire National Park, a drive of approximately 2–2.5 hours through picturesque Tanzanian countryside. Along the way, enjoy views of small Maasai villages, local markets, and the vast open plains dotted with acacia trees.

🌳 Morning Game Drive – Enter the Elephant Kingdom

Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park, the gate opens into a world of untouched African wilderness. Tarangire is Tanzania’s sixth-largest park but one of its most underrated treasures. The park is especially renowned for:

• Massive elephant herds — sometimes numbering in the hundreds

• Ancient baobab trees, some over 1,000 years old

• Large numbers of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and buffalo

• High chances of spotting predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs

Around midday, stop at a shaded picnic site inside the park with restroom facilities. Keep your eyes open for:

• Elands, waterbucks, and vervet monkeys near waterholes

🚙 Return to Arusha – Safari Memories to Cherish

At approximately 4:00 PM, you will begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, giving you time to reflect on the sights and sounds of the day. You may enjoy a brief game en route to the park gate. Arrival in Arusha is expected around 6:30 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
